Ethelyn offers free workshops and provides coaching and mentoring to high school and college students to improve their interview and management skills — helping them secure acceptance to college, graduate school and/or the job of their choice. Her experience as an alumna interviewer for Columbia College and School of Engineering, for more than 25 years, made Ethelyn uniquely qualified to author Perfect Prep: An Insider’s Guide to Acing Your College Interview. Her second book, Perfect Prep 2: A Guide to Acing Your ‘First’ Job Interview, which gives college students and others the tools they need to succeed in the job interview process, is in development.

With a desire to give back, Ethelyn volunteers her time at Jersey City’s York Street Project, contributing her skills in support of the organization’s objective to provide the tools women and children need to begin their journey toward a life of self-sufficiency.  Ethelyn works with women to create powerful resumes and cover letters and to improve their interview skills.
